A few weeks ago, Ron Zacapa flew a total of eight top international chefs to Guatemala for a culinary think tank.
Similar to the preparation of a slow-dining menu, the use of the best products, their perfect craftsmanship and sufficient time for maturation are among the secrets of the unique Ron Zacapa quality. Under the motto “In search of edible wonders”, the cooking tourage was allowed to get to know the culinary peculiarities of Guatemala for four days and create an exclusive eight-course menu at the end.
Based on these ideas and inspirations, Kevin Fehling and his team created a menu that showcases the use of Ron Zacapa in different facets and cleverly combines it with one or two classics from his kitchen.
Recently I was able to enjoy this menu on the occasion of its premiere already once(My report about it here). And for the second and last performance of this event you can win a ticket (i.e. a seat at the long table in The Table) now and exclusively at Kochfreunde.com. Menu, accompanying wines and of course a glass or two of Ron Zacapa included.
