Gastro Premium Night 2014

Until now, I only knew the big industry parties of the media, advertising and interactive scene. Certainly, one can now state: Gastronomes have the better parties, especially when it comes to Gastro Premium Night. A great party with friendly guests, fabulous food and a really perfect location.

The evening began with the finale of the Young Savages, now Europe’s largest cooking competition, initiated by the colleagues of Rolling Pin.

Walter Triebel (25) from Aiola Upstairs in Graz is the Junge Wilde 2014. Not only his dessert, but all three courses convinced the well-staffed jury (Bernd Arnold, Lucky Maurer, Heiko Antoniewicz, Marvin Böhm, Karlheinz Hauser, Heinz Hanner, Stefan Marquard, Tom Rossner and Otto Koch). Triebel now not only beckons a cover story in an upcoming issue of Rolling Pin, but also an internship with Joan Rocca.

Following the award ceremony, the almost 2,000 guests spread out over the entire area of the Süllberg. Culinary delicacies of all kinds were offered at various stations, a variety of drinks, wines and champagnes were on offer and plenty of space was created for networking, celebrating and getting to know each other.
